Users needs to copy large or small amounts of data while working in the office environment every few minutes. It's quite useful if you have a lot of apps running and you need to copy and paste some text between them. Although Windows copy/paste mechanism does have certain limitations, it saves only one text string in the clipboard at a time. An alternative methods are clipboard extenders like Flashpaste.
