Steganos Safe 7--a standalone module of Steganos Security Suite 7--is designed for users who want or need strong data encryption for their laptops and PCs. Version 7 features an enhanced storage capacity of up to 256 GB of encrypted data, enabling users to securely archive large data or picture files. It also features a larger Portable Safe for encrypting up to 4.7GB of data onto a portable media device and then decrypting it on any other Windows-based PC or laptop by merely entering a password. Version 7 also features automatic start-up of applications and free, automatic product updates. Other product features include the Steganos Shredder and Deep Cleaning Shredder to completely eliminate any unwanted files, as well as any remnants of data from the hard drive that were previously deleted by other means; a multilingual dictionary of more than half a million commonly used words that shouldn't be used as passwords; and automatic crash protection.
